Employee Learning

Employee learning: choose the depth of support you need

Comparison of POSH Foundation and POSH Pro employee learning offerings
POSH Foundation POSH Pro

Foundation introduces employees to the law and policy while explaining their part in preventing sexual harassment. Its animated, interactive format covers subjects such as reasonable behaviour, intent versus impact, virtual workplace conduct, personal relationships and bystander intervention.

The learning helps employees consider what they experience or observe and understand what they can do when a concern arises. It also addresses what does not constitute sexual harassment.

When to choose Foundation

Choose Foundation when the immediate priority is to establish employee awareness through a focused course.

POSH Pro expands the available learning and support. Its formats include POSH in Action, which uses filmed workplace stories, and ePOSHBytes, short learning modules that can be shared through channels such as Teams, WhatsApp and email.

The subscription also brings together resources for HR and compliance teams, including policy-drafting support, editable awareness posters, a POSH audit tool and relevant directories.

When to choose Pro

Choose Pro when your requirement includes varied learning formats and resources to help administer your POSH programme. Confirm the main-course and refresher selections included in your configuration.

Internal Committee Training

Internal Committee capability: support the people responsible for the process

Internal Committee members have responsibilities that go beyond general employee awareness. They need to understand the POSH framework, their role in receiving and addressing complaints, and the practical considerations involved in carrying out their responsibilities.

The IC-focused offering provides specialist learning for Internal Committee members, external members and relevant HR professionals. It combines eLearning with live webinars and recorded sessions, giving participants opportunities to build their understanding and revisit the material during the subscription period.

The programme can also provide organisational resources to support committee operations. These may help teams move from completing training to maintaining a more structured approach to their ongoing POSH responsibilities.

For organisations strengthening IC capability

For organisations building or strengthening their Internal Committee capability, this option provides a more focused learning path than general employee or manager training.

IC Development

IC development: learning supported by working resources

Committee members need to understand how to carry out their responsibilities, including accepting complaints, conducting inquiries and making recommendations. They may also need reference material when a procedural question arises.

The IC subscription combines on-demand learning with expert-led webinars and access to recordings. Sessions address topics such as inquiry processes, report preparation, case studies and judgments.

The organisational subscription adds resources for committee work

  • Documentation: Templates and an IC meeting register.
  • Reference and guidance: A knowledge base, webinar library and Ask an Expert access.
  • Programme administration: Policy-drafting support, a District Officer directory, awareness posters and a POSH audit tool.
  • Case administration: A complaints management system supporting complaint records and inquiry-related activities.

These resources support the committee’s work; members remain responsible for applying the appropriate process and exercising their judgement.

Before You Roll Out

What to settle before rolling out POSH training

A useful product review should leave your team clear about both the learning and its implementation.

Language and policy fit

POSH Foundation is available in English and eight Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Review the language requirements of your workforce and the alignment needed with your organisation’s policy.

Access and administration

Delivery options include the hosted eLearnPOSH platform and SCORM delivery through your existing LMS. Confirm how learners will access the selected courses and what your administrators need to assign, monitor and document training.

Scope of customisation

Discuss the branding, policy information and content changes required before launch. Agree on the scope, responsibilities and rollout arrangements as part of the implementation discussion.

India POSH Framework

Where training fits within India’s POSH requirements

India’s Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 establishes employer responsibilities for prevention and redressal.

Section 19(c) requires employers to organise employee awareness programmes and workshops at regular intervals, together with orientation programmes for Internal Committee members. This is why employee awareness and committee preparation need separate attention within a POSH programme. Read the POSH Act .

Training supports these responsibilities alongside the organisation’s policy, reporting arrangements, committee processes and management action. Completing a course is one part of implementation, rather than proof that every obligation has been met.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions buyers ask about POSH training

Answers to common questions about selecting employee, manager and Internal Committee training.

What does POSH training mean?

POSH stands for Prevention of Sexual Harassment. In India, workplace POSH training helps people understand the relevant law, organisational expectations and their responsibilities. The appropriate depth depends on whether the learner is an employee, manager or IC member.

Can we select different offerings for different groups?

Yes. You can discuss a combination based on your requirements. For example, your employee learning choice and your IC subscription address different needs. Review any overlap in package inclusions before assigning courses.

Does POSH Pro include the full IC subscription?

Do not treat the two as interchangeable. POSH Pro’s employee learning and HR resources are distinct from the specialist IC subscription. If committee development is required, include it explicitly in your scope.

Can an individual IC member subscribe?
Yes. The IC offering has individual and organisational subscription options. Both include specialist learning and webinars, while the organisational option includes additional tools. The published organisational plan starts at three users. View IC subscription options.
Can managers conduct an IC inquiry after completing manager training?

Manager training does not appoint someone to the Internal Committee or transfer the committee’s responsibilities to them. It prepares managers to respond appropriately within their role. A manager who is also an appointed IC member needs learning relevant to that additional responsibility.

What should we share when requesting a demo?

Provide your employee count, manager count, number of IC members, preferred languages and intended delivery platform. Mention whether you are introducing training, replacing an existing course or seeking additional IC support. These details help focus the demonstration on a suitable configuration.
